Discontinued Items
(these toys are each one-of-a-kind)

Jeez....I'm just getting started, and already I have 'discontinued' items???

Actually, I've been making, and occasionally selling, some of these items for almost a year. Customers think they are totally cute, and dogs LOVE them, but the reason they are discontinued is the difficulty of construction. The larger SpiderKnot Toys may have as many as 400 hand-tied knots in them, and after making a couple of dozen, I had to stop punishing my hands.

The same goes for the knot balls, with braid or without. Cute toys, but having to make them with gloves and a wrist brace simply isn't worth 5 or 6 bucks apiece.

The Dog-R-Pillers were tested by, and held up to, my buddy's Bostons, but they take way too long to make to be able to price them sensibly. Therefore, all I have left are listed here.

Those customers who have purchased the SpiderKnots have been pleased with them, and I've even had return customers. I'm not saying I would NEVER make another one, if I had requests, but they are definitely on my 'endangered species' list.

When the KnotBalls and
Dog-R-Pillers are gone, they're 'extinct.'

Here they are....if you see anything you like, feel free to...

A note about the SpiderKnot toys. The legs stretch to about three times their original length if your dog pulls on them. They are designed that way. Dogs that do not destroy their toys love this. However, they are also designed so the owner can re-knot the legs in-between those knots, and shorten the legs back up. Eventually, all the stretch is gone, and the legs will no longer pull out of shape.

If you have dogs like mine......
....SpiderKnots are "knot" your best bet.

And you DEFINITELY......
....do NOT want to leave TWO such dogs alone with a SpiderKnot. (as my 'testers' have proven here.)

However.....my daughter's elkhound and eskie have had the same type of toys for a year, and have yet to tear them up. If you dog is not destructive with his or her toys, scroll on down and we'll get back to the business at hand.

Here are a couple of shots of the Dog-R-Pillers. It's difficult to see from these pics just how cute these things are. I have four left, two 'Tigers' and two "Leopards'.
These are reduced from $10.00 to $6.00.
(not bad for a day's work! LOL!)
As always, use the item numbers when you order.
